Depends on the damage...

I would just go ahead and get a ghost flame job

and maybe some 20s or 22s to go with the bling

Try compound followed by polish first. If That doesn't level it, try wet sanding with 1500 grit paper followed by coumpound, polish then wax. Be careful not to cut through the clear coat. The wet-or-dry paper cuts fast. Do not finger sand! Use a back up pad.

And after you get it fix, try this........

Purchase a piece of lumber (2X4 or 4X4), I use a 4X4 and pull the truck in the garage slowly till its right where you want it. Then place the wood in front of the front tires. Then back the truck out of the garage and turn it around, backing up in the driveway. Then take a can of spray paint and "mark" both sides of the wood on the floor. After you have done that, back the truck slowly into the garage until its exactly where you want it. Then place the wood behind the rear tires. Pull the truck out and "mark" the floor again.

Now you have a stopper on the garage floor that can be adjusted whether you back the truck in or pull it in.

I had a similar incident recently. A clay bar did the trick nicely.

Hmmmm? Never heard of a clay bar taking out scratches. They are great for getting the contaminants off the paint, but usually a scratch remover of some kind is necessary to get out scratches and scuff marks. Meguiars makes an excellent one.

Thumbs up

Just this last weekend I hung a tennis ball from the celing too. Only I have it in line with the top of the antenna so it does'nt hang low enough for the kids to swipe at.

I scratched my wifes Explorer with a contaminated claybar. It must have had something sharp in it. I had a friend wet sound it out and then compound it. Looks good as new now.

The tennis ball trick work's great in 2 of the 3 garages. The other one is 60' long, so not a lot of worries thier.
