I'm sure he'll be chiming in as soon as he's out of school but that was mistergadget's '03 L. we were up for the panther game. i wasn't even aware that we were "racing", he was at like 1/8 throttle. And I personally like the whine.

 

LoL! That was me. I was on the way to a panther's game and it was raining. I looked at the pics, and for sure, that riced-out blue civc pulled up next to me and revved! I gave him a little rev back just for *****s and giggles. I had two friends of mine in the car too, over 600lbs with driver and 2 passengers. He floors it as soon as the light turns green, I feathered it off the line to about 10-15 mph, and then went up to around 1/2-3/4 throttle and left a few buslengths between us. LoL. I wonder what he would say about the whine if it was floored haha.

I have the REM open filter and smooth intake tube. Stock cat-back still (although a magnaflow is on my hit list).

BTW - SVT is better than AMG for me any day! Every stupid mercedes with a sport package gets an AMG badge and wheels. It takes something special for that SVT badge.
