rusty clamps, etc.
I love my exhaust and the way it sounds but the tips are beginning to droop a little. Also, the clamps are rusted like all get-out. Guess this is another thing on my to-do list...
So if I buy larger tips and have my exhaust adjusted (moved up, etc.) and replace the clamps, will a decent exhaust shop be able to adjust it so the tips fit perfectly or is it a crap shoot based on the design of my exhaust (custom) and the way my truck is? I don't want to get too involved in this issue and want to keep it simple (as far as the exhaust adjustment) but I want to know how much can be done before I commit to some 100 dollar tips.
I know I should just take it to a shop and let them look but just to humor me, are catbacks usually pretty easy to adjust and get bigger tips to look nice and perfectly fitted with the ground effect piece?
Sorry for the long post...
Also, they do make stainless steel clamps correct? And does Bassani sell just the tips?
