Problem with single blade T/B

I recently installed my BaBolt T/b from my '02 "L" to my new '03 HD F150.Somehow I messed up my TPS when I installed it.
Dealer replaced under warranty, but now the truck idles @ about 1100-1200 rpms in park and about 800-900 rpms in gear.[too high]
I have already backed out the idle screw on the back of the linkage.[it's not even touching]Could this be fixed by adjusting the TPS? I really hate to mess with it since I already broke one and they won't want to replace another one under warranty.
Thanks for any help!

The dealer should have taken voltage readings when they installed the new TPS. If they didn't or did it incorrectly, you should take it back.

If you want to check it yourself, here are some detailed instructions:

Thanks Lightningrod, but i'm kinda in a bad position there.
The truck only has 200mi on it and the Tech was already pissing and moaning that i've modded it with an aftermarket T/B and Filter.I don't want to **** them off and have them post derogatory info against my Vin in Oasis.
I'' try and get a voltage reading.
Thanks again.

o.k. I just checked voltage and it was in the 1280 range.I loosened the screws and pushed the rear of the TPS down as far as possible, now it reads 1180.Am I doing something wrong??

is your multimeter set to DC? are you checking the correct wires?

That(1280?) can't be correct. Is your meter on 'DC volts'? If it is, is that 1.280 volts?

If so, and you can't rotate the TPS any more to lower the reading to .99 volts, then you will have to remove the TPS from the th/body and 'wallow' out the screw/adjustment holes to give you more 'swing'.

Look here:

I'm sure it was 1.189v
my meter is digital and has 6 settings for dc volts:
600,200,20,2000m,200m.
I was using the 2000m setting.I guess i'll have to bore out the holes to get more adjustment out of it.
Funny it worked fine on the "L"???
I just hate to ream out these holes and NOT solve the problem as I'll have to pay out of pocket if I need another TPS.

Here's an update.I had another tech at work look at it and he showed me where the T/B is "binding".If I push down on the throttle linkage it will idle correctly.Funny thing is it worked fine on my "L".I didn't adjust the blade or tthe shaft when I installed it on the HD.Just swapped linkage and the TPS.
Any ideas???

What did the tech think was causing it--'it' being the bind in the th/body/shaft and the th. linkage? It has to be a bind--either in the linkage, cable, etc. My first 'guess' would be that the TPS may be causing the bind though. Since you're adjusting it already, just remove it and try the throttle linkage again. I'll bet your bind is gone............or maybe the throttle body is out of alignment with the intake

Dan,I think he's thinking the blade itself isn't adjusted properly.Although I never messed with it after removing it from my "L".
Someone suggested I remove it and slightly loosen the four screws that hold the blade in place, then open it and let it "slam" shut and re-tighten them.
I don't know?I e-mailed Mike, [BAbolt] but I think it's his work address and he probaly won't see it 'till Mon.

My Accufab TB would stick all the time and eventually had to be replaced. I tried desperately to fix it, but I finally ran out of patience and JDM replaced it. Just some info for ya...
Thanks Mike
