I may have the Worlds Loudest L!

Well I got my new concept amp installed last night and OMG I never thought my truck would ever be this loud and these speakers haven't even begun to break in yet.

There so loud that the speakers are getting overly distorted when the gains are up past half way. Yet with this concept amp you can turn it down to a more then perfect listening level that doesn't get that loud at all.

Honestly from my first report of the concept amp guys, this is one bad mother for the money. two very big thumbs up and its a very quality looking piece too!

Hopefully one of these days I'll have my truck SPL'ed just to see for the hell of it but to give you an idea of the power. imagine someone choking you and thats kinda what your throat feels like, My friends think I'm crazy but I just like extreme situations, HAHAHAHHA!

Never heard of that before. They are not like our motors.........that magically gain hp/tq and rev up quicker with age

How big is the concept amp? That is a crap load of subwoofer for such a little amount of airspace. Do you have to roll the windows down for it to hit when the amp is turned up.

It's a concept that has been argued on both sides from the audiophile people. Some say you need to have a break in procedure to insure the proper sound of the sub, while other experts will argue against that point. It's kind of like saying that $10.00/ft. speaker cables produce better sound than $1.00/ft. speaker cable.

That is essentially porting the box. I think RT said before he wanted nice tight bass.........so I would assume his setup is loud with the windows shut.........like it should be

IMHO......Porting boxes the cheap way to be loud (and they sound like *****). For true SQ you need good subs and lots of watts.

well from past experience these subs do sound better with a more break in.

The concept amp is rated at 2400 watts RMS at 1 ohm and its doing all of that. I maybe have to upgrade my batteries again though cause the lights are dimming more then before. I think its time for yellow tops and a big 15 farad cap. My box is all sealed and its loud with the windows up and its even louder with the windows down. Its fun.

I have about 1 layer of deadner in the truck now, I didn't want to add to much weight and that seemed to help out pretty good so I'm happy with it. The bass is so loud that you can't listen to it anyway at 3/4 to full volume, its just to crazy.

at 1/2 volume your body tingles and tingles after you listen to them system for a mintues or so.
