I did 2.5% on the back window and 15% on the sides and it was perfect for me.

I took it off though cause I kept on getting ***** from the police in the area.

I have the max legal, which matched the rear window tint, plus limo over that cant even see in it during the day, its nice but you have to be very careful when driving, its more then nice for those trips to lovers lane

Yeah, I would have liked to gone darker, but I figured it was easier not to have to deal with the law. It still looks pretty decent at 35%.

Limo all around. Looks incredible with the DSG, but its not too great for night driving.

Had Limo on truck years ago, the cops are one concern the other is having to lean forward to look out the front window to see the median on left turns. Pain in the butt..

Yeah, I agree. Limo tint is to dark for a daily driver that will be driven at night. One of my previous vehicles had a pretty dark tint, but wasn't even close to Limo and it was marginal. A good compromise would be between 25% and 35%.

If

You have anything less than 20% you will have a hard time seeing at night - don't forget your windows are already tinted from the factory (very lightly) but still tinted - my point - the factory tint will lead to an even lower number on what you are placing on your windows such as - if you put 20% on it will not be 20% it will be lower ...

Law in florida is 70% on the front doors, but i have 20% on my front, and as far and I haven't heard of anyone getting cited for tints.

I also think the cops are sympathetic about the heat here.

Mine seems to appear a little darker, I think it's the contrast with the white. I also had to get a strip across the top since ford cheaped out on the 03 windshieds and left us without the nice fading strip.

That's usually a tell tale sign for the cops. They may let you get away with darker tint, but the one way mirror tint is usually a no-no. They don't want to walk up to a car that they can't see into at all, even with their flashlight it is difficult.
