I'll look up the part # on the box tonight. I can say for sure that the system description on the site that EZGZ posted is very wrong. I do know that magnaflow had a previous system, but I don't remember the part #s' for it. If you want to make sure get the latest version call Larry, he's quite knowledgable on exhaust systems for Lightnings.

Looks like the same muffler that I have. I love the mellow sound at idle and then the freakin beast gets unleashed at WOT. Just one thing...looks like the same setup I have. I got mine installed for about $150. Just bought the muffler and had local shop put it on. I had the stock tips put back on but I'm thinking of buying some harley tips. Mine has the "X-pipe" design also. I think they just used the same muffler and added the rest. You guys could really save some $ here by doing what I did. Just a thougt. Looks freakin sweet though. WOT only gets louder with age with this muffler!

Dont be confused. You cannot buy the Lightnings Catback muffler seperate. Its built to order and thats why it has no part #'s stamped on the muffler itself. We picked up a new maggy catback from Larry yesterday for my friends truck.

those are nice tips, do they sell a kit with 2 mufflers? The 2 in 2 out is ok, just not loud enough for me

The Silver Bullet has the individual Magnaflow mufflers... plus, I like their tips somuch better than the stock Magnaflow tips... they are spaced too far apart in my opinion.. plus they seem smaller than the tips on the Silver Bullet.

Konig, It's pretty loud at WOT. And if you want louder, just add 2 high flow cats in place of the 4 stock ones. Wicked tone now with stock cats.

I plan to keep it where it's at for a month to get everything settled in place. Then see If I can pull them out a hair.

I'll try to take an install pic, plus pics of the Roush Racing suspension.

Price update. $400 + shipping. This is for the new model, not the old one.

Flying ****, I understand that you picked up the new system too! Sweet sound hugh?

I have the silver bullets on my truck. They sound nice especially when opening her up. but...ermmm...they kinda stink at fit and finish. OMG. after I had my truck on a lift and looked at them.I thought to myself (my oppinion only) what a *&*&$. well. enough said. i have an exhaust leak also going to the tips. I like the tips though. They came on my truck when i bought it. haven't decided if im going to get them welded at the leak and keep them or not. If not I'll sale them at a good price.

have to agree with Nate ...

Take a hard look at all your alternatives including finding an exhaust shop to 'Fab' a cat back from scratch - very easy to do for a competent custom shop ...

As a matter of fact the shop that did my install told me he could do a complete cat-back with all stainless mandrel bent piping using the same bullett mufflers as the JDM for $350.00 complete all welded all custom...

The catback was for one of my Lightning brothers. I also heard Larry's truck... Sounds good. They really start to get louder when you break them in. I got the first gen of the catback. The old part# is superceded by the new.

Im going with a new " Secret " exhaust system. Although i doubt it will increase power, it will be badass none the less. Details to follow later.

I know the secret, but I'll keep the cat in the bag. Good luck, sounds interesting. Keep us posted, and for Pete sakes get some sound clips.
