True chroming involves electrically charging the piece to be chromed. Because the grill is plastic and does not conduct electricitiy it can not be chromed. The only way to get a chrome look is to paint it. I'm pretty sure Harley grilles are chrome like plastic, not metal. But pretty sure the chrome appearance is achieved during molding.

you can have an exact mold of your stock grille and then make a metal version and have it chromed.

Where might I get a mold made from the original grill ???
I also have the harley headlights, I have seen them and I thought the orange looked good all the way across.

If they made a billet version of our OEM grilles i'll purchase one in a second (matching upper & lower of course)..

i don't like any of the aftermarket grilles on the market right now. they either look flimsy or they have waaay too many lines in it for me.

white: are you working on an actual metal version of our OEM grilles or just a chromed/painted plastic one. if it is the former, please keep me updated on the progress as i would be ready to order in a second cyntaxx@yahoo.com

thanks

www.j-jent.com already has the lower HD style insert out for the Lightning valances. NYJPNY over at NHTOC has a lightning bumper on his HD and just got the matching lower J-Jent grille so it matches his 03 HD chrome upper grille
