Need some consoling; Afreaking Civic hung with me from a 50mph punch
On the way to work this morning I saw a riced out late model Civic ahead of me blipping the throttle, so I figured I would give him a taste of the L. I pulled up next to him, paced him, and we went from a 50mph punch. To my amazement he hung for about 2-3 seconds until I started walking him, putitng about 4-5 lengths on him up to 110. I don't know WTF this guy had under the hood, but no one has hung with me like that.
I think it is time for me to do the built bottom end mod, because if I loose to a Civic, i'm going to drive my truck into a tree

A real fast civic is still a peice of crap civic. You can throw money at any car and make it fast. It still wont have the class, distinction, sound and looks that our L's have. Just think what he was thinking, "oh man, i got beat by a pickup truck".

I wouldn't use that argument since I wouldn't want a ferrari owner to be like "i just got walked by a lightning but it's still a POS ford"
