I have the same battery, well the red top that is, and I was looking for the same thing. What options are there to hold the battery? That battery is smaller than the stock and I had to temporarily put some cardboard between the fender and battery to keep it from moving around.

If you want to save some money here is what to do.

Take the stock hold down, drill a new hole in the side of it, and then grind the bottom down till it holds nice and tight.

Here is a pic of what I did, it works awesome and was free

Hey Don, I heard these yellow top Optimas can damage the alternator. I have been running the Optima red tops in my other vehicles.

Would be intrested in your opinion as you are running the stronger yellow top.

No damage. I have had a yellow top in my Ranger for 3 years now. Anyone with a high current draw (audio/video) should use a yellow top.

Also for those of us who run electric fans, intercooler pumps, and electric water pumps should use the deep cell yellow top. The reason is that the yellow top is designed to run way down, then recharged without loosing storage capacity.

A starting battery will loose storage capacity if you keep draining them down.
