Arrow All I know is......

All I know is I raced to Civic Hatchbacks with the H-22 swap. They came by our local hangout revving their motors and blah blah blah. Me and a friend ran to my truck(probably the fastest I have ever ran in my life). I caught up to them and blew them away at a stop light. We hit the highway. One of them is right next to me and the other is about 3 cars ahead. He drops down a gear and I nail it. I say goodbye to the one next to me and blow by the one that was ahead of me like he was standing still. That race was probably one of the better one I have been in(lots of fun but no competition). I am sure the cars have potential to be fast but so does anything if you have money. Just my opinion on the matter. -Mat-

Oh yeah, This was b4 the headers and cats and was from a 40-50MPH roll.

Last year a "kid" brought a mild looking civic to the local 1/8 mile track looked stock except the interior was gutted and he said it was a "japanese spec" motor which he said was the same as a gsr. he ran 9.5's all day and had traction issues. He was pretty cool no stickers or wings in fact he said he didnt like the stickercharged cars. The guy did all the work himself and was maybe 19yrs old. I ran test and tune with his group of imports all morning they all were real cool. I think I might heve pissed off a kid in a new Acura Rsx rtype S he kept ending up with me in the other lane(3 times) He ran in the 10s and I was running 8.6-8.7 asll morning.

What youre hearing while he was " missing a gear or two ' was a blow off valve from his turbo. If he was using a T-3 or something, doubt you would of seen it. What did the inside intake plumbing look like? Anything like a cold air intake?

yeah, actually. had a small filter box with a cold air induction boot going to the front. the induction tubing from the filter looked small and restrictive. he said he had to use that from his last motor or something and that it was holding him back. He's the one saying that he missed a shift. now that i think back i think i heard something from his car. hard to tell over vinson's blower whine.
