I'm about to buy either a MAC or a MAGNAFLOW catback, and I'm looking for some comparisons such as cost, sound (which is louder), cab drone, size of tips, materials etc etc. I'm sure this post could help a lot of people. Thanks in advance for any input.

 

quick summation. Magnaflow nicer/better. MAC cheaper. IMHO

Oh yeah, MAC is not all stainless, magnaflow is, they both sound good, but like killa said, nothing like BASSANI.

 

i removed a Magna flow a month ago to install the Mac,Im very glad i did the Mac sounds so much nicer,its much deeper then the Magna flow

 

I just put the mac system on my truck, and love it.I have always liked there products. I have had them on other cars, and trucks. I love the deep sound at wide open.........

 

I just got done installing my MAC as we speak. I paid like $300 shipped to Hawaii. I am totally content with it. It sounds ten times better than stock. Nice deep rumble at idle, but when you push the go pedal she really screams. I will be installing hi flow cats in a week or two. I say go with the MAC.
