Lightning smells?

After i drive the L hard or after i drive for a long period of time, there is this smell like coming from the engine bay, doesnt smell bad but there is a smell, does anyone else get this, or is it just because the engine is working so hard? Thanks BTW, i hit 135 today, =), very happy, had to cut off casue the exit to the freeway was coming up.

I hate to say it, but it sounds like you may have also joined the leaking head gasket club....That is how I noticed mine, after I parked the truck one night, I thought that I smelled burning rubber...As time went on, it gradually turned into a burning oil smell that I have now...I investigated it, and found the rear of the passenger side head was slightly damp with oil Oh well...I will worry about it when it is time to build a motor..

Describe the smell,

Oil, Rubber, New vehicle smell, smells hot, when I had my 02 Lightning there was some smells but it was just breaking in.
