The 99 and 00 truck used glas lenses. Mine lasted 2 months, due to all the crap (mostle from the gravel trucks) on our freeways.

After replacement (not covered under warranty), I covered them with two layers of 10 mil aircraft vinyl. Nefer had another speck of damage.
