Be Careful with simpsonracing.com...

As you probably know, i ordered the Simpson Racing child car seat about a month ago. After 2 weeks of waiting for it, i called to find out what was going on. No answer. I left a message and never recieved a call back. so, after 3 weeks a i called again. No answer. I left a message and never recieved a call back. Today has been over 4 weeks since i ordered the goddamn thing. I called again this morning and finally got a hold of someone. they gave me a tracking # and it is scheduled to be delivered at the end of this week. Almost 5 weeks after they charged my card. I asked why it took so long and this was their response:

"Sorry, Mrs Simpson didn't pay her bill with the distributer and they weren't shipping anything."

What a load of *****!! Why the F@#K would they charge my card and then not ship it out for 3 more weeks?

I would suggest not ordering anything EVER from them. I will never recomend their company to anyone!!!

thanx for letting me vent...chris

WOW! That suprises me. I applied for a job there a few years ago (as a shipping manager, nonetheless). I got the shaft from 'em, but maybe that wasn't such a bad thing. It's a "small" business, but they move a LOT of stuff.

I have a lot of Simpson stuff (Helmets,Race suits,Gloves,Shoes, etc). There stuff is top of the line and I have never had a problem.

I know you are venting and are noy happy but when you got a hold of somebody you got a tracking #.
Now if you never received your item or got billed for something you never ordered then that is different.

I am sorry you had a bad experience but there products are second to none and IMO are worth it in the long run.

"Mr. Simpson" is no longer associated with "Simpson Racing".

He got the shaft I guess, and Mrs. Simpson got the business.

HEH HEH HEH .., Now MR has a new company .. it's in the
SCCA magazine which is at home. I'll post later if nobody
else knows it.
