Question Help Predict My ET!

My local track is an 1/8 mile track and I haven't been able to run my truck at a 1/4 mile track yet. I haven't even run my nitrous at the 1/8 mile track yet. I was wondering what you guys think my L would run in the 1/4? Mods are in my sig and I will be running Nitto 555R's! From reading the board I am guessing I should be at least in the 11.80's. Any thoughts?

Where are you running at?????

I would say 7.5's are in your reach.

My local track is Elk Creek in Virginia. The closest 1/4 mile track is Bristol. Any guess what I should run in the 1/4?

I'd say 12.20s, and that's IF you can launch on the spray on the Nittos.

Friendly debate here so...........

I gotta dissagree. I ran 12.2's with a lot less done than HANK.

He has gears/spray/all that suspension *****.

I will admit it is gonna be tough getting out of the hole.........better heat the hell out of those Nitto's

I'm not sure "YET" Hank Fan, I'd say hi 11's too, if you can hook.

You know I want to know this answer too

BTW,
Sal, can you launch "and then hit the juice switch"
I'd think it would be a lot less stress on the DS and Rear, not to mention better traction, especially with those 28" Hoosiers you turned me on to

Yeah I have to agree with soap. I know Beefcake ran 11.90's with a 6# lower and a 50hp shot. I am running a 4# lower and a 75hp shot so I should at least be in the high 11.90 range. Maybe in the high 11.80's if I can get the Nittos to hook. But I don't think that I will be able to launch on the spray with the 4.10's with the Nitto's even with the JLP traction bars. I probably will spray mid way through 1st gear to help reduce tire spin. I am shooting for 11.90's in the 1/4 and 7.50 in the 1/8th.

Beefcakes truck was also an 01 vs your 00, which makes a big difference (the lower intake). He also had long tubes and was running a real 15" slick. His truck also ran 12.40s off spray.

I do have a little experiance tuning some 99-00s with spray . I really don't think you are going to hit 11s with what you have listed. But I sure do wish you luck, and hope you hit your goal .

Sal- Thanks for the info. But I think you forgot....
I am JDM tuned! That should get me into the 11's by it's self right? J/K

ICULOKN- Elk Creek is in Wythville VA. I acutally live in Princeton WV (30 minutes away from Beckely WV). Elk creek is about 45 minutes away and Bristol is 2 hours away. I am for sure going to FFW in August at Bristol you should try to make it.
