1994 need quick advice

I have a 1994 lightning with 112,700 miles on it. Body is in good shape with some dents in the bed and scratches in the paint. front bumper has lost of paint chips in it from rocks and highway driving. everything works on the truck, what do you think this truck should go for? red paint and a roll pan. needs some work here and there. but over all nice pics at http://www.geocities.com/svt4rd/lightning.htm thanks

Gen 1s held their value VERY good until the Gen 2s came out, then the price value started to drop off. From the pics (BTW, you have a typo in your link, .con instead of .com), the truck looks to be a nice, clean truck. Depending on your area, the market, and what people interested are willing to pay, I'd say the truck is worth 8-10k right about now. The only Gen 1s I see still pulling in good money, are very low mile trucks, like under 50k miles. Hope this helps.

Obviously it's your truck, so you sell it for what you want for it . If I were in your shoes, I would tell the guy 9k, and if he agrees, then I think that would be a very fair price for both you and him.

Stock Gen 1s are rated 240 hp, and put down an average of 200 hp to the wheels. I've seen stock Gen 1s run as quick as 14.8s, and as slow as 15.6s.
