Leaded Race gas

Is it ok to run 4 gallons of 110 unocal with 10 gallons 93. I say these amounts so i can get 100 octane because that is what octane my tuner said to run. I am asking about unleaded because my track doesnt sell unleaded. I will not be runnning the leaded gas often maybe 2-3 times a year.

Using it 2-3 times a year probably won't hurt anything, but don't make it a habit. Lead clogs up the O2 sensors, and slowly kills them by making them read slow. If you can't get unleaded, try getting some Torco Accellerator unleaded race gas concentrate.

Dont forget that lead clogs your cats. Is there a reason why you need 110 leaded when 103 unleaded is avail?

Easier to get to the track with the fuel light on and dump in 5-7 gallons of 100 in.

You MIGHT not get her pregnant if you don't use a rubber too.
DON"T use the leaded fuel - you begin to halfa$$ things then where do you stop. Mix the xylene or toulene (do a search the formula is here - many times) or unleaded race fuel.

The reason i want to use the leaded fuel is beacuse we buy it in the 55 gallon drum for my race cars so i want have to buy it becasue i already have it. How about I compromise and only use 2 or 2 1/2 gallons in 10 gallons of gas.

Everytime I gas up L I mix 5 gallons of 111 oct. F&L race fuel with 5 gallons of premium 91 oct. gasoline. Ive been using this mixture for over 6 months now. My L is tuned for 100+ race fuel. I took the cat convertors off and havent had no problems.

You wouldn't 1/2 a$$ anything on the race cars would you????
Why start with the L? It looks to be your transport vehicle too!
When I had my race cars I always figured that nothing but the best goes in to it. (in case your still thinking about it - I went in to it)

I don't know if and how long it will take to kill the O2 sensors and cats, but I just bought a 54 gallon drum of VP C16. I don't see how just a little on weekends will hurt too much. It is leaded 117 motor octane. I don't have cats anymore so I'm not too worried about those going bad.
I also have a drum of 104 sunoco unleaded. I'll probably add a few(5-6) gallons of that at every fill up.
