Leaded Race gas
The ford has a heated O2 sensor and it is less sensitive to lead fowling, but they will fowl out, or like Sal said it will slow down there reaction time. The lightning doesn't rely on 02 sensors at wide open throttle, so if you ruined a set of sensors, I think that part throttle driveablilty would suffer, but would still run fine at WOT. In my opinion sensors are cheap.
Back in the early 90's, Turbo Buick guys switched over to the Ford heated sensors, cause they would run on C-16 for a long time. They have mostly gone back to the stock sensor now, cause its easier to tell when the sensor is bad.
After saying all that, I have never tried leaded race gas in my truck, I can buy 101 unleaded at the pump if I need it.
