Talking REM / Longblock

Hey Guys,
I just wanted to share this note of thanks to Paul with everyone. It is hard to do in the open because it will be clear to everyone that I have more money than truck sense.

Paul,
Thanks for your help with my long block. I came to you with very little money and even less knowledge. You went out of your way to insure I got all that I could for my money and help me from spending needed money on things that I wanted but did not need. You only sold me parts that would add hp, not flash.

Thanks for your support and help! Oh, the wife is not happy with our relationship, I believe she would have rather found out we where having sex, instead of building a truck together!

Options?

So what options did you decide to go with? I'm considering a similar purchase from Paul and would love to know the route some other customers have taken.

Thanks for the kind words..I sent you some pics of the short block this morning and a list of the head mods. As you know we out sourced the valve covers and they are closed mondays so I'll get an update for you tomorrow.
After all of our conversations concerning your motor I feel very confident we've built the best package for your budget.

Hey Nathan,
I just went with Pauls shortblock. http://www.razorsedgemotorsports.com/

and had some small head work done.
Port job
stainless 1 mm over valves
Ferrea valves
Seals/guides
valve job

He is having a set of alum. valve covers made for me. And we are putting cams in the heads.

This is being done to support the KB blower that is coming.
Maybe my buds will stop making fun of my poor ole truck with the yellow stripes.

Okay....I guess I'm gonna come out of the closet and say that I think your truck looks great. Always did like it.....even if it is Red .
So in your small list of head work, you didn't mention valve springs. You are gonna replace them too aren't you ?

Mod Max and Crower to name two of them. There are actually very few spring manufacturers, and both of the above mentioned companies, most likely, have the springs made for them by them.

Spring kits are available and in stock if you need them.
