i think sweetf150man at ftw is stopping making the smoothed side steps. i'm pretty sure thats what he said. alot of work and he's in the process of painting his truck lamborghini orange.

and yup, StreetScenes just came out with smooth urethane side steps and end caps, but the quality/fit doesn't seem to be perfect.


Now for my next question.....how the ******* do i get those side steps off? i saw 3 clips back there, and got 2 of the 3 popped through, but it still felt like i was missing a few tabs or something, but couldn't find them anywhere. can anybody help me? Vinnie? Anybody?

From what I remember there is a tab you cannot too. Just loosen up the side steps with the ones yopu can get to and pull. It will pop right out.

Quality is bad on the SS? How would you fix em?

Joe, you wouldnt happen to know the prices of these pieces would you? Im hoping i could get everything done for $500 including the price of the pieces. Looks awesome.

hmmm....thanks for the info Vinnie. Now would you happen to remember which end was the one that was easier to release? front of bed or the taillight side?
