What does this come on stock, like a 4X4 turck or something. I'd like to be able to go to the parts store and say " I need a trans filter for a 2002 ????" You guys have andy idea?

Go to autozone for the filter and save some bucks. Deutsch makes a filter (I think it is TF-325)

 

just a regular F250 with a 5.4??? No 4x4 or anything??

 

the TF-325 at autozone is $28.99 does that sound right? i thought filters were like 10-12 bucks... i am getting the 4x4 pan for free, thats the only reason im doing it myself. (with the ftvb install) anywhere else i can get the filter for less than 25 bucks?

Prices have changed or something. I paid around 10-12 bucks for the Deutsch filter.

 

At one time, AutoZone cahrged $19.95 for them, and the dealer suggested retail was $44.55 would you believe. I pay about $7 for them, but I buy them in cases of 96, they last me a few months. I don't sell them, so don't ask. I'd get in trouble if I was SELLING anything here.
