finally invested in a valentine one.....400 bucks...it better save me from tickets i cant wait to get it

I, have the 8500 works great. But it also requires you paying attention because, neither if fool proof. Both will increase your ability to avoid a ticket. Artie

Excellant choice.. I have two. The radar source directional arrows is what separates the men from the boys..

Works great when there are several vehicles on the road. Not so great when you're the only one. If it goes off and nobody else is on the road, you're more or less caught, unless the cop has the radar on all the time.

Love mine though, has saved me plenty a times.

ya i wastrying to get a used one but they were all going for around 375....hell for another 25 bucks you can get it brand new...at least it has good resale

I picked up a V1 about 2 weeks ago. I've actually been suprised at the number of times it picks up radar that isn't instant on. I've only been hit with that once to date. I think that it depends on the city, county or state as to which device they use.

thanks! you just saved me 40 bucks! if i decide to keep the 8500 i will buy that one...
