Back from the dyno......results

Just got back from the dyno. Pretty pleased with the results. It is running pretty rich, think I'll send it back to JL and get it leaned out a lil bit. A/F got as rich as 9.6....you can really see where it affects the curve.

nice truck, that's definately a safe tune with 9.6 A/F ratio, your hiding a bunch of power with that tune I would think. your numbers seem a bit low for a 5lb pulley, mostly the torque numbers, but it's safe so that's good. sounds nice!

I like the 2 speeds at which it looks like the wheels are not even spinning.

Michael: We have similar(see sig.) mods. You are leaving some hp/tq numbers in that 'fat' chip. My a/fs were in the 12.5 range with no detonation.

Yep, you are safe, but at that rich I would worry about fouling plugs. With similiar mods I am at 505 ft/lbs of torque, with a safe 4 gas reading... a slightly richer chip cost 30+ horsepower and hurt torque even worse, so there's a narrow line of good tune between pig rich and time for a new engine.
