Thumbs up One thing this board has done for me...

Guys,

With all the BS and lies going around. I think we need to share more positive things from the board. I personally have gained ALOT of things from this board. I have talked to or met at least 200-300 people from this board over the two years I have been around. I really have met some good friends and been exposed to a few new things in my life. There are many guys & gals on this board I would do ANYTHING for, and whats more to the heart is I know I have plenty of people that would help me.

We have a few bad people in our community that really bring down the whole family at times. I can forgive or forget to all but one.

To all that know me, call on me anytime, I will help any of you the best way I can.

Sorry if this is BS to any of you, I just am going through some changes and good friends mean alot.... I had a great time tonight, with a few of my Lightning family members and it meant alot.

I see to much hate going on the boards and it needs to stop... We should be the most respected group of late model race vehicles, we are the outkasts in many ways, so we need to be on top....

Very well put, I to have learned alot from being a member here, and most everyone will go out of there way to help you, but no matter were you go there will always be those that try to start some BS, but they are few and far between.

I couldn't agree more with what you have to say about this. We all have so much to offer this community, and it has proven to be such a great reference whenever information is needed.

As with all groups and organizations, there are always a few bad apples. It is inevitable, but that is what makes the nice people so special. I don't mind the arguments about that part is better than other, for that is how we help determine what we should spend our hard earned money on. We will always argue about stuff like who is faster or puts down more power, but that is what makes this sport so fun. I just feel that we should not cut down on others for no reason, especially when people are just trying to help. If someone offers words of advise, thank them even if it is wrong just because they tried to help.

People on this board bicker no more than any other board for other vehicles, but there is always room for improvement. I am sure with the racing season getting started soon, we will finally get out of our houses and meet up with the fellow members once again. Hopefully everyone will get a chance to meet some new people and make some new friends like I have.

The reason that I came to this forum initially was get some technical information about the S/C 5.4, and after a while I made a couple of friends, but it gets harder and harder to get answers from the people (tuners) who are supposed to know the most about our engines because they spend more and more time blasting each other instead of helping those who might actually spend money with them.

I Love You Guys + Gals, ICULOKN hit the nail right on the head

When I read my early post I realize what an A-Hole I sounded like. Some say if you’re new or "not in with the crowd" you get no replies, but I found that not true. Ya I thought I could do anything at first, and I had my trouble with the Boss
(Love ya now Doug Ya my post got buried fast, but once I realized this place was a world of Information, on a vehicle I bought "but truly knew nothing about" I embraced this place and have been obsessed with it along with my Lightning ever since. Once I respected this place (yet have fun with it ) I got the respect I deserve, and I give it back in return. That respect comes from what Iculokn just said, WE HELP EACH OTHER. You help me, I help you. I learn, you learn, we all grow together, we all benefit from another’s failure, but most of us pull together and help the Brother out through the bad times. Ya we got some a$$holes that ruin it, especially when a Brothers down, but I say **** um, they know their A$$holes, and we know their A$$holes, so ignore them, and move forward.

ROCK ON BROTHERS AND SISTERS ROCK ON

But what qualifies a person on the board to be a "bad" apple? Could actually be the other way around. Double standards.

Honestly, you yourself should look at some of your last posts, especially your responses towards me.

You dont know who I am and because of that you attack me personally and demand proof that I do own a Lightning.

Before you go get all worked up over this, let me remind you sir that you attacked me first and I took offense to it, so thats how it all starts.
I see to much hate going on the boards and it needs to stop...
If it needs to stop, then why dont you take the first step yourself?

I don't think anyone’s a bad apple Blown,

I think some just think you can say and do anything here, AND YOU CAN'T. This is a business, just like me and you go to work.
This site has rules and regulations, just like in the real world.
We're supposed to treat people with respect in order to receive respect in return.

I'll be the first to admit at the beginning I was a moron and an a$$hole, I would call out the Steve or Doug on something I DID WRONG. To me there was no rules, I wanted to know why I couldn't show naked pictures, why I couldn't curse, why I couldn't call a Tuner a Liar and Thief, why I couldn't recommend a Non-Supporting Vendor. But like I say, once I saw how the place ran, and once I realized what an important part the Vendors Played,
THAT ALL CHANGED

Once I contributed my experiences to the site "AND I DO", once I starting helping out the newbies, once I starting getting help from the Pro's, ALL THAT BAD WENT AWAY, AND IT WAS ALL GOOD.

Doug and Steve are great people and I have written Doug on more than one occasion to apologize for my big mouth or a comment I wrote. That doesn't happen anymore, because I respect him, and he respects me.
Plus he does let me get away with murder sometimes
LOVE YA DOUG, YOU DA MAN, and Steve too of course.....
