From September 8th, 02, to February 23, 03, is more than a couple months. I ordered Mine december 11th, 2002, and saw it home on February 13th, 03.

Ordering it that early you should've been able to get one late december/early jan.

How could you have seen any grey 02 on the streets?

I once posted and asked why the vendors aren't held responsible when they lie to someone or give false information. "AND THEY DO" I truly believe we have every right to post about a bad experience with a vendor or member. I can also say I don't deal with certain vendors because of all the negative reviews I've read about them here. I also don't answer stupid post from a$$holes. I even gave a couple of these vendors a try anyway, and found the service did suck "and they were liar's". Instead of bashing, I simply spend a grand with another vendor "ONE THAT WELCOMED MY BUSINESS, and gave me customer service".

When I questioned Doug about posting about a bad experience, he assured me there is nothing wrong with telling of a bad experience with a vendor OR FELLOW BROTHER as long as it's YOUR EXPERIENCE and you don't attack or bash over it, THATS FAIR.

YOU HAVE A RIGHT TO VOICE YOUR OPINION BLOWN, for what it's worth, I'll listen to you buddy

I give you no proof as to who I am, and you cant give any proof as to who you think I am. I have offered up that I do have a 03 Lightning, and a pristine 99. Why do you feel that I have to give you, or anyone else pictures to prove who I am? I can give you pictures of any grey03 Lightning and any black 99 and you wouldnt know the difference and it wouldnt prove anything.

Yet you maintain that I am someone that I am not and you slam me because of your beliefs, sounds like the very thing that you are lobbying to get rid of here. That would make you a Hypocrit (sp).

Although I agree with you that it is a shame to see vendors and their supporters shamelessly bashing each other and their respective products, I don't think these "wars" need to stop. They just need to be toned down to nothing but productive arguments backed by detailed information and substantial evidence. I do not condone the hijacking and such that this board has resorted to in the last couple of weeks, however I would like to see questions, albeit controversial ones at times, being asked. I for one would like to know a lot more about a product than what the vendor tells me in the description/introduction of it. I would like to see more information come out and that is partly what this forum is about. Sometimes vendors forget details and I enjoy and learn from the questions being asked....even if it comes off as inflamatory at times, if and only if it really does benefit the Lightning "community." For instance, in the latest DynaTech Longtube header "War" some questions brought forth regarding the potential for power improvements with the $1500 mod did shine some light on the product although the manner in which they were asked seemed inappropriate at times.

Just my .02.

As for Grey being JJ, I didn't know that until now. Of course I would like to see more than just speculation, but I won't hold my breath on that nor do I really care.
