phil, Heres my suggestions:
1-lower the tire pressure in the stock F1's to say 20 pounds, when you get to the warm up box you don't need to melt your F1's, drive around the water heat them up good, done.
2-I leave the line at around a 1000 to 1200 rpm, it depends on the track if you can go to the floor out of the hole but 9 out of 10 times I do.
3-leave on the last yellow, if your looking at a green light on launch your real late.
4-Good luck, have fun.

I get 1.8 60's out of my F-1's
@22 lbs of Air in rear
I roll around the water also ""But""
I do a LOW RPM LOOOOOOOONG Burnout
I release the brake while still burning and crawl foward
to almost Stage one
I then put it in netrual, rev it a couple of times (FRESH AIR)
I put in Drive and Stage
Overdrive off
FOOT ON BRAKE "DON'T TOUCH GAS PEDAL"
When ready to go
Put your mudder ****ing foot to the floor
and drive it like you stole it
Works for me each and every time,
the worse 60 ""I ever had was 2.0"" on BALD F-1's
