Crappy GoodYear service UPDATE

I took my scratched/chipped rim into the GY store, the manager looked at it. He said he could not see how it could happen, he said he has only seen it happen on the edge of the rim. I asked him to get the big wing nuts they use to tighten the wheels to the balance machine. Sure enough it lined up with the scratches and chips. He said he could send it out to get repainted (which I did not think would be a good idea, most likely it would be peeling paint in a year or so) So he is giving me two new F1's for his cost (he said about $220) with free mounting and balance, vavles, road hazard and promised my rims will not get scratched this time. I will get some silver touchup paint and fix the chips and scratches myself. He was pretty cool and I could tell he felt bad about it. I had him put it all in writing. I wish it never happend but I'm satisfied.

Glad the Mgr made things right for you. But don't get to worried about the nicks on your wheels. For some reason, my factory wheels "seem" to pick up road debris and slam them into my wheels. I must have 6 or 8 nicks in my wheels now, and have no idea how they got there
