I don't think those will last you for the next 3 months Don. You might wanna order 6 more, so by the time you forget again, and you need em, you'll have 6 more...

haha

must be planning on running some dirty *** fuel. I know gas prices are going up man, but no need to be scooping up the spills at the local mobil!!!!

Good idea to change your fuel filter often, especially on a blown motor, and especially running race fuel. Race fuel has been said to have a lot of sediment in it. Don't know how true this is.

"Flowers for whom?"
"Plumber, maam."

I think they did that on SNL but with a shark

Imagine hearing the knocking and opening your door and having that "drop in" on you!

Lightningrod posted the picture below in an earlier post of using a Navigator fuel filter for a Lightning. As you can see by the picture it's quit a bit bigger than the stock one. Might be worth looking into.

LOL. That filter does look monstrous compared to the Lightning filter, but after changing mine a couple times it really isn't all that big in person. Makes me think that the Lightning filter is really small and probably why it needs to be changed so often to be effective. Could be a cheap upgrade and a cure for poor fuel delivery.

I will say it can only help by changing your fuel filter often, unless you screw something up in the process, but I've got to say that this is over-reacting. I really don't see the big deal. I've changed my fuel filter twice (I've got 30K miles, both times at 15k) and both times the filter was very clean. Normal for that mileage.
Maybe this crappy CA fuel that I'm over-paying for is at least clean, I highly doubt it.
There's alot of over-reacting on some of these issues.
If you've got nothing better to do then by all means get under there and change it.
