For those with the trenz grill...

I have a 2000L, I just got mine in the mail, my question is...is the top grill supposed to be a different shape than the bottom grill one?

clonetek, thats by far the best intructions i've seen for the grill install. I had mine done about two months ago. SKJ if you are going to do it on your own, print out those pages. If the intructions from the other company's are anything like Trenz than thaey arent worth the paper thier written on.

Get 'em at Godfathercustoms.com. Install is mind-bending. I suggest removing the bumper insted of working from under the truck, but either way will work. The top should be a different shape than the bottom. The top should be rectagle because it fits BEHIND the grille surround, whereas the bottom should be rounded because it fits INSIDE the bumper opening. Hope this helps.

you can also get the billet grill from the online store on here..

abafi20: the instructions that came with the grills sucked! they said:

step 1: remove front of truck.

step 2: install grills.

step 3: replace front of truck.

ENJOY!

any of you L owners out there interested in selling your OEM grill? I've got the honeycomb, and don't care for it, but I've got an all black XLT Sport, and I'm trying to stay subtle... (no chrome or aluminum)

thanks...
