Paint Blistering on front edge of hood.

Angry Paint Blistering on front edge of hood.

Today I go out and wash the L and what do I see. The leading edge of my hood is blistering in several spots. UGGHHHHH

Ford does have some warranty on the paint. You might be able to go that route.

had the same prob. the under side of the front lip when u open the hood was blistering bad, slowly it came to the front where u could see it with the hood closed, had the front top, and under resprayed, my cost, it had 40K miles, but was only about 150... i thought i was safe with an alum. hood but NOPE....

my F150 has that problem by the windshield wipers the little lip the paint is starting to fade/chip

My truck has a few rock chips. It is really sad to look at when you wash it. The bumper off the Lightning is really catches the rocks bad. Is there any really good was to repair these little chipped places and those fine scratches that get on the truck.

here's some pics. Went to Ford today they are going to fix it. Wahtever that means. Probably just repaint it.

Well it's great there gonna fix it for you. At least you know it's not rust underneath because the hood is made of aluminum..
