movie rice
i have to think that they will at least have some rear wheel drive american muscle, because in the first one, they only had the lightning for parts, and the charger....... and i bet that the producers and makers of this one has at least heard our complaints about lack of american cars, so i would think that yes they probably will have more ridulus foreign cars w/ stupid paint jobs, but they should have more american cars also......
the race scenes look ok, but the plot that they look like they are trying to accomplish doesn't appeal to me...... crook cops? guns? what..... reminds me of a XXX Vin Diesal crap.

Per Sport Compact Car magazine they supposedly destroyed five (5) real Saleens in the semi accident scene. And of course the magazine writer was gloating over it "Any chance to watch some Mustangs being destroyed is ok with us."
Seems like there's a-holes on every side of this car hobby...

i cant wait to make fun of it....but ill go just to see the cars and females. also, dont forget at the end of the first one they had a 70 chevelle ss. but im glad they are sticking more american rides in there even though they are still stuck in the background
The trail has a 68 camaro and a 03-04 viper in it. Also I dont remember a 70 chevele ss in the 1st one..does anyone know what hes talkin about?

I missed the Chevelle too.
I think some of you are missing the point though....this movie isn't being marketed to you American muscle people. It's far more lucrative to market to the younger demographic (ie: ricer crowd).

it's all marketed towards 13-17 year olds that dont know that much about cars and just likes the outside ground effects and paint scemes.
but still i think they will throw some more american muscle in the mix to try to get more of us guys in the theatre to see it.
Just for those who want to know where the Chevelle SS is in the movie. There is a small scene after the credits that shows him driving in mexico in a Chevelle SS. Alot of people missed it because not many people watch all the way through the credits.
Figures its a ricer movie when they kill a beautiful Saleen and C5 and let the Hondas live
I swear when they hit the front valence in the first movie I almost cried. Also, when Brian gets thrown on the door of the L in front of the cafe I was gonna flip out
I guess I love L's too much...
I have to admit that Supra was pretty sweet but the sound that came from that Challenger with the 3 barrel carb was insane. When he fired that thing up I stood up in my seat and applauded the power

I read it for my current Miata ('02 Sport suspension, racing in Solo II, winning every meet so far locally). I also read it because I have a deposit on an Evo VIII... so I look for the good stuff and ignore the useless ***-clownage.
