REM's Long tubes and complete exhaust
lmao, my math was off for the first time lol
when i added the jdm lt's and high flow cats, i picked up 3-5 hp and 5-10 ft/lbs
that was after making sure the a/f ratios were exactly the same, don't get me wronged, the sound enough was worth it, but i think it's misleading to consumers to post a dyno sheet like that and "claim" whether intending to or not, that you could achieve similar results, even with a different blower,
my truck was putting out more power than that particular dyno before hand and i got no where near that. i cannot see a new design being that much better

i'll also state , i have never heard of a set of LT's giving 75 ft lbs of torque by adding lt's or lt's and exhaust for that matter
so, the problem comes in when people do not read posts, i read and even commented on the blower, pay attention please

We are in no way inferring that everyone will get a torque increase like that with this exhaust system. We even qualified that Pauls truck has a Works112 on it, which, because it is more efficient than the oe Eaton, will have a different effect on HP and torque numbers than a base truck would.
On top of that we stated that we didn't have time to run a test on a base truck which, by inference, would mean that we know very well that the numbers would be different.
No punches pulled here, just trying to show what it did on the one and only vehicle we had the opportunity to put it on.
BTW, the install was very easy. Everything was fitted perfectly and went together with ease.

Combine that with the fact that you were still running FLOWMASTER 3-Chamber Mufflers on that car (not exactly the most efficient flow out there), and maybe the gains are possible.
Dynos don't lie, unless you are calling Tim/REM a liar?

Here are some numbers for information purposes only. Attached is a dyne sheet from a customers 01 lightning. it has a 4lb lower pulley and 2 pound upper. The only changes between the 2 runs was the addition of a set of Bassani short tube headers and Hi flow cats..the rest of the exhaust is the same non-mandrel bent dual flowmaster setup that was on in the first run..Hp dropped by 1 and TQ went up by 27.7 ft lbs...Because time didn't permit ( it was 5:30 on thurs) we were not able to tune it YET. Keep in mind
we do not sell the bassani products, the reason I posted this was show that if shorty's can make 27 lb\ft is it not reasonable to think that long tubes will make more...granted the 70+ that I got was high and we said so multiple times in the post..

i'm telling you flat out, that these trucks have a pretty good exhaust setup from the factory,
i challenge them to do 2 things, since they are in the challenge business
take a completely stock truck and put their complete system on and then tune nothing but the a/f to make sure it is exactly the same, and then do the same on a modified truck
you are not going to get those kind of gains,
it's not about kissing ***, i spent the 1k on high performance lt's that give these awesome gains and got **** out of em,
i cannot see this new design being of something that no one else thought of, kooks is one of the best in the biz and if theirs aint getting it, i doubt these are
i'm not an advocate of the lt's for this amount of money no matter who it is.
if you want to spend 1k for 75 ft/lbs then go right ahead.

for the record, i'm not bashing REM, their products seem to be decent and 2nd, they aren't the manufactures
