OFF TOPIC!
One of my choices besides the L and C5 was a used Hummer. Found a 96 turbodiesel H1 with 32k miles for about 43000. I would NEVER drive an H2....but the H1s are badass. There are a couple at Purdue....all relatively new. a red 4 dr. hardtop, a metallic tan wagon, and a black 4dr ragtop. I would personally have wanted either a ragtop or slantback...

oh yah, and the only reason i ended up not getting it was because the guy was somewhere in washington state and i decided to go fast on the street instead of semi-fast anywhere else...

H1s rock!!

Well, I traded my L in on the Caddy DTS!

While I miss the neck-snapping power and nice looks of the truck.....I don't miss getting 12 mpg--filling that baby up with premium fuel ($1.97 gallon), not having a back seat, or keeping my fingers crossed that a plug won't hold (and my credit card is in major mod withdrawal).

That isn't intended as a flame against L owners. I still think it is the best performance truck ever created --I just couldn't keep it around as a toy anymore....

BTW...the Caddy is pretty much a maintenance nightmare. Makes the L seem as reliable as a Honda!
