Plug change soon....antiseize or not?
Antiseize or not with these aluminum heads?...Ive read both on this webpage...also, what should I torque these things down to to that they dont come flying through the hood?????
I've used Anti seize Both times I've changed mine, now I have 9k on it and race it often and never had a problem.
To tell you the truth next time I think I'm gonna go against what everyone says and use a Mild Loc-Tite.
I mean why not, they say not to use Anti-Seize and I do with no problems.

Finger tight plus 1/16 of a turn put all my plugs right on 14lb/ft... which oddly enough is what ngk recommends as well as many other plug vendors for alu head plug torque.
I also used a copper-based anti-seize.

On aluminum heads
in the words of Chris Tucker:
HELLLLLLL NO!!!!!
The object is snug the plugs in so they don't get loose and back out, not strip the 4 threads.
