Problem....Need the SVT 800 # please....
Problem....Need the SVT 800 # please....
I need to call and complain I think.....
I just brought my truck back for the 3rd time so they could "center" my steering wheel after replacing my steering gearbox a month ago and this time I am told because I do not have the stock wheels, they can't do anything.....it is all in spec.
I said it is NOT an alignment issue, just that they need to center the damn wheel!....He said put the stock wheels back on and it can be looked at. I am pissed.....I mean I have the F150 aluminum 17"s with the stock goodyears that came on them....they are wheels right off a ford truck.....these are strictly for winter. Can someone give me the 800 #?
Thanks,
Tom

Hehe....Just called SVT and talked to a guy named Mark.....nice guy.
He told me the Ford wheels are what they recommend for winter and that it should be no problem whatsoever....he is gonna call the dealership and find out what is up. I mean....this is NOT an alignment issue....ever since they put the damn gear box in...I have had this problem and it was NOT like that before the gearbox and I still had my winter wheels on.
Why do I even need to go through this??
Bewteen this and worrying about blown plugs and rods I am really beginning to develop a love/hate relationship, lol!

The sticker on the inside of the door says to not use stock tires in the snow. Do they expect all 20K of these Lightnings never to drive in the snow? Sounds like you have a monkey working on your truck...
