i have a Lightning and a 99 S/C snake.

the lightning has the better off the punch, but nothing beats the insane pull at high rpms.

I'm picking up my 01 tomorrow. I'm working on getting a 03 Cobra within the next 6-8 months, that will be a weekend car I' need a ragtop.

 

i have had a lot of gts and they wont pull the boat very well are haul the trash are the big ice chest full of brew.

I would say the Cobra is more fun to drive, banging gears is a blast in that thing. But I do miss the room the Lightning had. It is a tough choice. If I could do it over again I would still buy the Cobra.

 

I got tired of shifting my 1991 Z281LE Camaro..............

And I love the scream my 01 L makes when going into boost/WOT. Kinda reminds me of when I use to hunt snakes in the Everglades and I'd hear two Everglades panthers at their peak when making baby panthers !
