I hear ya man.....I have a house in the Pocono's, and deer are a big problem....Luckily not to the L, but a year ago to the wife's exploder...Going about 50, and one runs right across the road...The last thing that deer saw was my headlights, and then he met his maker...Dead center hit on the front of the truck, that sucker just exploded...I did feel bad for about a day, but sometimes there is nothing you can do...

Bummer, I once ran one over that was already dead and down with a 70 SS 454 Camaro. Dam think ripped the skin off it and then it stunk like hell burning off the pipe for the whole ride home

Hope it's not too bad

Two words::::::

Deer Whistles and "LAY ON THE HORN" ... Deer only respond to
sounds ... hence the "Deer in the Headlights" saying....

Sorry about your luck ... It will be ok ...

Yep, in my hometown there are deer EVERYWHERE (southern IL). they literally stand in our driveways and yards and aren't scared of you. I make a habbit of honking the horn even if there are no signs of deer on our road, just to be safe. and its really hilly and the speed limit is 45. i go 40...even in dry conditions...as long as its night i'm always riding the brake on our roads.

I hit one in a 27ft Uhaul. The damn thing exploded all over the grill, hood, and windshield. I had to find a gas station to spray the winshield off becuse I couldn't see out. It was probably one of the worst things I have ever seen.

I did that in mrinaldi's Mustang a few years back while we were going to Atlantic City. Doing like 80mph and BANG, I thought it was all over. Smelled baked deer the rest of the way. The bad thing was when we had to pull the exhaust off a few weeks later, there was still deer pieces under the car. It was pretty bad.
