Functional Hoods
Functional Hoods
Just wondering what all hoods are functional been looking at the reflexxion cowl cobra hood is it functional? I definatly want a functional hood and i wanna go with some type of functional cowl any suggestions?
Good Hoods has a shaker hood that is functional. Pretty killer looking to IMHO! Thinking about it for my truck. The TNN show 'Trucks' installed one on a F150 SuperCrew a week or two ago and it looked sweet. Good luck.

bizzy03,
This place is in Chattanooga, TN which is probably not more than 3 or 4 hours from you.

This hood blows right across an open cone filter. The white one shown on their site is not functional. If you call ask for Jerome.

P.S. The hood is unpainted in these pics.

Nice, very nice. $25.00 saving over a Cervini's "Ram Air" hood. And this one is functional.

The ProGlass cowl is a functional hood. Very high quality and has holes cut in it for two guages.
What you pay extra for the hood, you will save in prep time for painting.
We should have several available in the next week.

I assume that the filter gets cold air drawn to it, is there a box surrounding the open filter so that it can be drawn or how exactly does it work? And is there a water trap in this design like the ProGlass shaker?
I like the idea of the gauges in the hood…
Thanks, Tom
