I'd like to know what -- if anything -- was changed between runs 2 and 3. There's a real anomaly in A/F ratios that someone needs to explain.

Seems temperature, humidity and bar. pressures numbers remained stable. Real consistent A/F numbers in Run2; considerably less so in Run3.

Nothing on the truck was changed. I also noticed the A/F ratio change.

Well, something changed!! If I were you, I'd ask the dyno operators for their interpretation 'cause if nothing was done to the truck between runs, something still went awry internally (your engine) or externally (their dyno).

Those differences are statistically significant.

Thanks for the reply. I think these operators were on
There also was a 99 L w/almost all the JDM bolt ons (2lb upper, 6lb lower, long tubes, electric fan, cobra r H2O pump, Borla cat-back, JDM chip, etc...) and guess what he dynoed at...... 423hp!! That is ****ed. Anyway here is the other email that I received. Here is a link to my and the other guys L.

Hey Ryan. Thanks for the input. I think we may switch to RD Dyno since I don't think teh DYno SHop is dynoing correctly. A bunch of data was way off. I talked to RD Dyno in Orange county, so I think we may switch to them.

Can you do me a favor and compare your dyno results on the print out copy to the dyno results on the web site? Are the numbers identical? Also, the correction factor is available when you click on "Conditions" link on the dyno details page of your dyno result. It is the "K factor"

Get back to me.

Thanks,
Dean

Hey thanks. I posted my result on f150online.com and they were convinced
that they were not corrected. I am not sure but the numbers for my truck
seem high. Anyway let me know when you know for sure about the numbers and
if they are not corrected if u have the error correction factor that would
be great.
Thanks Again for the hard work, it was a pleasure and keep me informed about
another Dyno Day. One another thing, since Santee is relatively close to
Carlsbad, we should organize a track day event, since Carlsbad has a 1/4mi
strip. Whatcha think?

Later, Ryan

A question for you "dyno gurus":
If I just wanted to quantify "mod changes", would the difference between runs with and without mods be accurate?

Ryan: I live about 2 miles from their shop, do you think they knew what they were doing, or were they really ?

Thanks all,
Dave

whitestx,

I don't know if they knew what they were doing. As i posted above the guy that put this on said that a lot of data was off. My dyno sheets do not match up w/the numbers on their website.
I know that they did over 20 cars w/at least 2 pulls each that day and i was about fourth from last in line. Maybe they screwed up, I don't know.

I am going to have it re-dynoed here soon. I will keep u guys informed. For now I will not go back there. Later tonight I am going to get the hp from my G-tec, to see if it match anything close.

Thanks
