conformal coatings

Well, it looks like I ordered my Humiseal (1b73 ap) a little too early from www.kranderson.com. Prior to ordering I went to the HumiSeal web sit and requested a free sample that I didn’t think they would send. Well guess what I got from the brown truck today, (1c49lv) (ib31) and the thinner (521). I haven’t got the (1b73 ap) that I paid $47 for yet, go figure? Does anyone know what the difference between the 3 conformal coatings are? (1c49lv) (ib31) & (1b73 ap)

Over at nloc.com they have a thread about a conformal coating pen...put it under a black light and see if the factory blue glow and your coating match...they could probably sample the contacts and chemically prove the coating was recently applied...from what I hear Ford is damn near likly to do just that.

I think I'd be pretty pissed if they went to that extent!
