Turtlewax Tirewax is good stuff!

This stuff goes on your tires with a spunge. There is no worry of overspray and it seems to last a lot longer. I also used this on all of my black trim and BOY does it make a difference. Shiny black color and very smooooth on the black pieces. Makes the L stand out real well.

just a FYI.....

(No... I don't work for turtlewax! he he he)

I used to us it on a silver truck with big flares so I can't answer the "slinging" question but it does last thru rain and all that jazz. It is good stuff in my book. I rarely put stuff on the tires of my Lightning but when I do I wipe it off several times so it doesn't end up on the sides of my truck. -Mat-

Works great for me too. Does not "sling off". It's about the consistancy of a heavy liquid soap, so you can rub it in and not have the problem of it slinging off on to your wheels.

I have used the Turtle Tire Wax and I agree...Good stuff, and it seems to last longer than Eagle One. No problems here with the Eagle One coming off though

Nope. I put it on think and it didn't sling off on me. Makes all the black trim real smooth to the touch. Ya gotta be careful if you stand on the back bumber because it can get REAL slick.

Again.... good stuff!

black magic tire gel= major black crap "slingage"

eagle one wet in spray bottle = slings

eagle one in airisole can = minimal slingage and nice shine

meguires tire gel used to be great stuff but the formula now has been thined out for some reason so it slings now as well.

I have never seen the turtle wax stuff but thick is a good thing for sure

the eagle one stuff is really good for using in your fender wells though...it also keeps the rubber from sticking after you go to the track...the rubber will just spray off...its a good idea to put it on the "flat" part of the ground effects in the rear where rubber also collects real bad

i've never had a problem with Eagle 1 (spray clear bottle) sling. it doesn't last very long though. I just used a foam tire applicator that is contoured to the profile of your tire and it works pretty good. but i will have to try that turtlewax stuff next since it sounds pretty nice being a thicker consistency....

I've noticed that Turtle Wax has come out with some real quality products lately. There was a time when I wouldn't consider anything of theirs, but I do like what I've been seeing . The Black Magic is real CRAP, I agree.I like the Armoral detailer's Advantage spray tire foam. Goes on easy, looks great but it only lasts a few days. I'll have to give the T.wax a try next time.

Turtle Wax Tire Wax is the only tire dressing I use because it's the only tire product that I have found that will not sling off of my tires onto my truck. Good stuff!!!
