What part doesn't make sense? Maybe I can explain it a little better if I knew for sure what you meant.

you all have it easy, come to california for some real prices!
91 octane is 1.89 by my house, i had to pay 1.99 before!
We don't get any of those high *** octane gases out here, the highest I have seen is 93 and its only at select 76 stations, plus it is usually over 2 dollars a gallon......MY TRUCK IS SUFFERING

you are right, I should have been more explanatory..

why wouldnt the voters have voted OUT having to have someone pump their gas? I am sure they realize that their gas prices would drop the 6 to 7 cents per gallon that they are paying..
when my wife and I vacationed in Portland, we made sure to fill up in WA before we came back across the bridge..

anyway, I guess its a way for the state to say that it makes jobs in the state.. but there has got to be better ways to do it..

dboat,

I hear ya! It seems everytime they bring it up on the ballot they bring out every excuse in the book from jobs, to safety to how are the senior citizens going to get their fuel? It irritates the hell out of me. We have cardlock fueling networks (which my company I work for owns 6) that allow commercial customers to pump their own gas, so go figure. Us and Jersey must have some of the biggest idiots for voters (actually Jersey had self serve for a little bit, but they voted it back out). One of these days maybe we can catch up to the real world. Like you, I always fill up when I can in Washington.
