Question will a 4# pully from a Cobra work on L

Does anyone know if the 4# pulley for a Cobra is the same as the ones for a lightning? I found a great deal and wanted to get the scoop first.

Yes, a upper 4# pulley on a 03' is the same as a stock Lightning pulley.

They won't work on the cobras, lower pulleys that is.

3lb's is the smallest your going to get with an upper without grinding the snout down.

pulleys

I dont think so, even if the pulley was the same size I'm sure the mount wouldn't be the same. Pulleys can be had in the parts section at a reasonable price and you know it fits, you may want to contact one of the tuners that deals with the new Cobra's to verify. Good luck.

Guys, the blower on the cobra is the EXACT same blower we have. If it mounts on the Cobra, it will mount on the L.

With 4# pulley I assume you mean a 2.93" pulley, which is the same as the L.

uhmmm no, the cobra blower is a rear entry blower, the rotor packs may be the same, but the casing is different brother, and the 4 vavle heads make it different with the intercooler too.

the shaft that the pulleys mount on is the same and upper pulleys will work from the L, HD, cobra, supercoupe, GTP, anything with a eaton pretty much. but I think this guys talking lower pulley.

Sorry Yes.

Where the inlet is is hardly of consequence for a pulley question. It is the SAME blower. Its a Eaton M112.

Thanks for the info, I thought it was too good to be true ($75.00) I was talking about the lower pully.

OK, and the whole blower just bolts right in?

It can have the same shaft, snout, rotor pack, gears, bearings, etc. but that doesn't make it EXACTLY the same.

If it's cageless it should work. The lowers are the same on Cobras and Lightnings except for the cage.
