Referring to the thread on Blower Wars, you may want to check this thread out. I do not know how to reference previous threads but this takes like 5 seconds.
Hit search, enter bill murray and look for the thread "Lightnings wanted by Superchips". Thread starts on 06/24/99 and it is about the 3d/4th one under my name.

How silly of me to "volunteer" my then almost new 1999

BTW, a lot old players on that topic.
Bill

Thanks for the link thingie Doug:.

Boy did all of us have a lot more time on our hands 3/4 years ago!

I have always enjoyed Mike Troyer's posts (books sometimes) and way back then I also tended to be more long winded than now.

If any of the current "blower wars" suppliers/distributors are watching this, I will be more than happy to volunteer my 02 Blackwood as a test mule without all the legal mumbo jumbo. The only proviso is that I get to buy a blower for my 1992 Town Car at a "friendly" price
Bill
BTW, Hope everyone understands the line "My Name is xxx and I am a/an xxx" God bless AA.

Sixpipes and i went out for a little R/C test and tune today. I wanted to tell you what a great deal you were doing for the F150 guys a few years ago when you sold the Hopped up built Lightnings.. The price was right and the hop up parts made them real good handlers...

Slicks, Stabilzer kits, upgraded motor, upgraded shocks / springs , painted to match the Real color, Speed control, etc etc

Real Nice !!! the same thing today costs quite a bit more...

Do you know if there are parts for the old style chassis ?? Sixpipes bent the front to rear shaft today... The shaft is different then the one on mine..

Pics here

You too Doug... bent mine here a few weeks ago. I've upgraded mine to a D5 modified 7turn motor and a Super Rooster ESC. To much torque steer put me into a curb. Thinking about selling it all and going gas powered. Can play longer then
