Question

Is ANYONE here over 6'?? cuz there is NO way I can lose an inch of room in the cab. Being 6'5" I have my seat ALL the way back, and leaned up against the back wall.... Had a LOT of great ideas for a pair of subs, but didnt want to lose too much space...

...then there's the problem of where to put the amps!

Oh well, pretty happy with my single JL 10w3, but always want more

Hey RTKILLA, I guess you are currently on step #2, again?

It will be sweet, can't wait to see the pics.

RTKILLA,

I don't post too much here, but here goes. What kind of amp(s) are you planning on running? and what ohm are those sub's? Just curious.

Maxpower - time to move over to a HD. Rip out the back seats and put in a sub wall

the subs are dual 4 ohm woofers, so with 5 I should be right around 1.6 ohms and maybe a bit higher cause the ID's I had ran at 2.9 ohms with 3 wired together.

The amp is a rockford fosgate BD1500.1. Its rated at 1500 watts rms at 2ohms mono. It will be a little lower on the impedence but if it doesn't work and the amp burns up which I doubt, I'll just get a new amp that can handle it.

This is only going to be for SQ with music, no spl contest so I won't be juicing the amp at a constant state.

Well I'm 6'3" and 215 pounds roughly so I really don't sit that far back in my seat. I could and I used to but I like to sit up closer to the wheel and have more control now. I can really sacrafice 2 to 3 inches of seat room and not even care, but I'll only have to loose about 1 to 2 inches with the 5 10" ID's.
