Got my cracked foglights warrantied,but...

Once the service tech was done I went to inspect and I had two different foglights. They installed one which had the shield over the bulb and the other was without the shield. Thats just my luck. So I went and told the service manager and they orderd another light. I wonder which one I'll get?

Unless they order it from the antique market you will get one that has no shield.

I went to the dealer the other day to get mine warrantied and he said it looked like i had hit a rock or something. I told him tofeel it and if it were a rock it would have made a chip.I came back from getting my horn fixed and he said he had ordered the foglights but he was to busy for me to ask if he was warrantying them. I guess when i go back if he says there not warrantying them ill tell him to go something that im not paying and go somewhere else.

yep no shield is the new design I got mine replaced under warrenty for the 3rd time Sat. I drove with them on last night in the rain I need to check and see if they cracked or not. They should not get as hot with the shield removed from the center.I saw no difference in the light pattern on the road.
