i have the kenwood kvt-910dvd and couldnt be more happier with it. the screen is awesome. i use it for dvds, tv, ps2, and other stuff and it works great. alpine makes quality stuff as well, so you cant go wrong with either one.

It's about $2400 from an electronics store or crutchfield, i got mine on ebay for 1300 used with the sirius radio. Be careful on ebay, i saw a lot going for wayyyyy too cheap and then after the end of the auction the negative feedback came pouring in........

The screen on the Alpine is very good and I like the fact that it has a Remote. Touch screen did not appeal to me. I hooked up the PS2 and it works great.
The Alpine 1003 in the reg. one , 1006 (the one I have) is a step up and the Pawn has the Top of the line(cannot remember the #) ,which is the same as mine but has a CD player built in (I have to use the exchanger).

I have the IVA-C800..same as Vin's+CD. The new one is the IVA-C801, only difference is the support for the DVD 6-disc or 12-disc changers.

If you are looking for a TV/Multimedia controller (and have a seperate FM tuner), you might want to look into the IVA-D900, just came out in 2003. It has the MOST pixels of -any- LCD for a car, 7", multi-input/output control, etc. Kinda overkill for most truck applications, but some folks want the best.

I got my for Navigation mainly, havn't hooked anything else up to it.

I´ve got both TV and DVD !

I watch it when im not driving: waiting for someone or something , at shows and in the lane while waiting to race etc.

It depends how you use it. The pawn has a navigation system hooked up to his, I use it at shows, heavy traffic, long trips (for the passenger). I would say that 90% of the time it just gets used as a radio though. But that 10% is usually fun.

With all the FFW events and shows I plan on doing this year, I might get the navigation system also.

my friend just got the new clarion one. $2,200 i could not justify spending that much money on a TV for my car. but then again, i could justify spening $4,000 on rims lol.
