All of a sudden any time I open the door the dam thing DINGS and DINGS and DINGS, "without the key"

it just started tonight, I checked everything I THINK ???
Anybody know why the dam thing is doing it

Maybe the lights aren't registering as off???? Flip the switch a few times and see if it still does it.

 

Problem: Truck DINGS at all times and generally annoys the **** out of you.

Solution: Reach under dash, grab wires, pull.

Lol. Ok Dont really do that but. Maybe it's your belt minder all messed up or something. COuldn't hurt to try disabling it.

 

Just start climbing in and out of the Lightning "Dukes of Hazard" style

 

Maybe its your muffler bearing thats loose!

I believe I read that there is a connector underneath the drivers seat that you can unplug that will disable the belt dinging whatchamacumma (Not proper technical term)!!
