What should be my next performance mod?

Here are my mods on my 01 Lightning:
Jdm single J39 progam chip (Tuned for crappy 91 octane California gas)
4# lower pulley, boost by pass, cold air intake, NGK tr6's, line mod valve with 4x4 tranny pan, silver bullet, E-fan with cobra R water pump.

Unfortunately I can't put long tubes or high flow cats in Ca because they are not smog legal. I thought about a TB, but the gains are not that much for the $$ amount. What do you think? What about the plasma booster? I want to wait a little longer to put one on since it is quite new in the market. I also though about upgrading to a 6 lower pulley, but with the shi$$Y gas in CA and the reliability issues it kind of scares me, plus my truck is a daily driver. Some of you have the 6# lower pulley, but most of the other states have 92 - 94 octane gas.

Do you ever race?? How about slicks or traction bars. I guess if you specified what kind of "performance mod" you are looking for we can help you better.

You could get new suspension/brakes.

How about JDM's new intercooler heat exchanger. Traction bars would be good also as Soap said.

i have almost the exact same mods as you and i would recommend getting traction bars, a d/s loop, and either slicks or at least drag radials....

then i would pick up a used tb, maybe do a 50 shot of nitrous, and down the line a convertor maybe....

I don't want to mess with the suspension. I haven't taken it to the track. I mostly street race. Would traction bars help on the street? The heat exchanger seems to help a little but mostly if you have are running 6# or more of boost right? I am more interested right now on power adders. What is my next big bang for the buck?

Slapper style traction bars will help on the street without being too noisey or big $$. Lakewoods are $100 or TT's are about $250. With your mods you must be having traction problems. Personally I'd *****-can the line mod and go with the FT valve body. No expert, just an opinion.

83 views and only 4 responses. Is my question that hard to answer or give an opinion?

SVT_KY is right, the FT VB is the chit! get it, its required equipment. traction bars and driveshaft loop are a must with increased power also, they are my next mod. if you really want bang for the buck, go with one of Sal's nitrous systems

NX all the way. Don't worry about traction just hit it in 2nd gear!
